David Cruickshank Sculpture

Nature's Gallery
Nature, the worlds first gallery. Cruickshank's practise invokes the viewer to pause among the natural world and reflect on it's grain and growth. From broken and discarded wood he chooses to carve, following the path of the grain to reveal a form, emerging within.
These pieces are perfectly placed in amongst the flora and fauna in a carefully curated garden combining the artistry of the natural world and the meditative process of creation.
Viewers can follow the meandering paths of roses and peonies and tunnels of figs, discovering works of art that explore scale and materiality. Encouraging the viewer to contemplate their own experience and journey through the space.
