Cruickshank was selected to exhibit his work at Leeds Sculpture Gallery
at the Corn Exchange
Woodstock Farewell - May 1st to 1st June
Corn Exchange, Leeds, LS1 7BR
Titled 'Woodstock Farewell' due to the unveiling of a new larger bronze version of one of his first wooden carvings titled 'Woodstock' which was created at the same time Hurricane Melissa, also destroyed his previous family home in Jamaica titled 'Woodstock' Within the exhibition he explores the themes of personal evolution, presence and attention with the need to transition as does the wood from a discarded state to a newer form.
